Portland is on fire, extending their win streak to 13 games with wins over the Heat, Cavaliers, Pistons and Clippers this week. Damian Lillard is averaging 30 points a game during their win streak, and the only team to score over 110 points on them were the healthy Golden State Warriors. They’ve climbed up to the No. 3 seed, where they have a two game lead over the Thunder. The win streak couldn’t have come at a better time, with a tough schedule down the stretch awaiting them, including two more games against the Houston Rockets. That game against James Harden and the Rockets on Tuesday is going to be an epic game, featuring two of the hottest teams in the league. While Lillard hasn’t done enough over the course of the season to be in the MVP consideration, there’s a very real chance he’s going to be on an All-NBA team, it won’t even be controversial at this point.
