7. Minnesota Wild (+1)

The Minnesota Wild will need to wait a little longer to add the services of Jordan Greenway to their team. Greenway and the Boston University Terriers won their conference championship and received an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. If BU can put together an impressive performance, they will play in the Frozen Four which takes place on the weekend of April 7. That means Greenway would not be eligible for any regular season games with Minnesota. If he is to sign a pro contract after his school season ends, he will get thrown right into the playoffs. This is hardly an ideal situation for the Minnesota Wild, who need help right now.

Minnesota is trying to hold off the charging Colorado Avalanche to avoid slipping into a wild card position. Ā Minnesota currently has a three-point advantage on Colorado. With the pressure on, the Minnesota Wild put together a good week. Unfortunately, they lost to the Colorado Avalanche to start the week. They were able to get four points at the end of the week ,when they beat the Vegas Golden Knights and Arizona Coyotes on back-to-back nights. The Wild have two games next week that will be important: the Los Angeles Kings visit the Wild on Monday. The Kings are in the middle of the playoff hunt and are desperate for points. After a few days off, the Wild will take on the division-leading Nashville Predators on Saturday.
