1. Nashville Predators (-)

It has been business as usual for the Nashville Predators. They continue to be a talented team, sound from top to bottom. The Predators became the first team in the league to clinch a playoff spot. Ā The scary news for the rest of the league is the Predators might be getting better for the playoffs. Star prospect Eeli Tolvanen is expected to join the team after the KHL season. He has scored 38 points in 51 games this season in the top league outside of the NHL. By the way, he is only 18 years old. Injecting another layer of offense into the Predators’ lineup will make them even more dangerous once the playoffs begin.

Nashville continued their winning ways by sweeping the week. They beat the Winnipeg Jets, Arizona Coyotes and the Colorado Avalanche. Moving forward into this week, the Predators will have another chance to build on their great season. They begin the week traveling North to take on the Buffalo Sabres in a winnable game. Then they will return home to play the Toronto Maple Leafs. Their weekends with important matchups against the Minnesota Wild and the Winnipeg Jets, both are Central division opponents hungry for the playoffs.
