Which NHL mascot would you want with you in a bar fight?

16. Hunter (Edmonton Oilers)
Edmonton is about 232 miles north of the city of Calgary. There has been something brewing in Edmonton ever since Craig MacTavish yanked Harvey the Hound’s tongue out of his mouth. The Oilers realized they were missing something in the rivalry with the Calgary Flames. Four out of five Stanley Cups in the late 1980s wasn’t enough for the organization. They were missing something.
In 2016, the Edmonton Oilers finally acquired a mascot. They wanted to make sure it would be the polar opposite of Calgary’s Harvey the Hound. The Oilers adopted a Canadian Lynx named Hunter.
According to National Geographic, all lynx have excellent hearing and vision. They are rarely spotted outside during the day time. Lynx do the majority of their hunting at night. The Calgary Flames should do their research, because Hunter is on the prowl. Whoever takes Harvey the Hound for a late night walk better be well aware of Edmonton’s new mascot. If not, Calgary might be in the market for a new hound.
As for a bar fight, Hunter would very intimidating. Hunter is one of the few frightening mascots. Many people will run for the hills if the encountered a Canadian Lynx. If the fight spills outside, Hunter will be a great companion because of his quickness, vision and ferocious bite.
