Eric Axley ($6,900)
Though Axley is just 2-of-3 in terms of made cuts in the 2017-18 PGA Tour season, he made the cut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am back in February and finished T47 in the tournament. That could make him an interesting value player.

John Daly ($6,800)
We all know John Daly and many love the veteran on the PGA Tour, but he’s played in just two tournaments in the new season and neither ended well. He was cut after the third round in January in the CareerBuilder Challenge, but was actually playing quite well prior to that. Given that and a 72nd placed finish that was only marred truly by a final round 79, he might create some intrigue at this price.

Mike Weir ($6,600)
Mike Weir is another name that golf fans are familiar with, but who we haven’t heard much from in a long while. His play this year has been less than inspiring as he’s been cut in all three 2018 tournaments that he’s played. Having said that, he did finish T15 in the Australian PGA Championship in November. Perhaps he can make his way through this diluted field.

Tony Romo ($6,600)
Yes, Tony Romo is making his PGA Tour. No, you probably shouldn’t expect him to make a whole lot of noise. However, UMBC just upset Virginia in the NCAA Tournament. Maybe March 2018 is the time for the underdog, and Romo on the links fits the bill.

Omar Uresti ($6,500)
Look, you’re probably steering clear of most of these value picks because of the weak overall field. However, Uresti finished 71st at October’s Sanderson Farms Championship and fired off a 74-71 in the Sony Open in Hawaii to be cut, which isn’t horrible. Perhaps, at the cheapest price point, he can better himself a bit and make a nice showing.
