FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 20, 2018
High Salary SG
James Harden, HOU at POR ($11,600): As you’ll quickly see, shooting guard is a position where you’ll want to grab a high salary guy. Even if it’s not a player on my list, there isn’t much value at this position and the high salary guys have good matchups down the list. Harden doesn’t have the best matchup, in fact, the Trail Blazers are first against shooting guards in their last 15 games. But there is little point to doubting Harden right now. The Blazers are hot and you know the Rockets are going to bring their best against them. That means an MVP type performance from the leading candidate to take home the award. ****
Jrue Holiday, NO vs DAL ($9,000): Holiday finally struggled despite Anthony Davis being in the lineup, finishing with 18.6 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Celtics. Expect a bounce back performance from him on Tuesday. He had 43.1 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Mar. 4 and needs 36.4 fantasy points to reach value in the rematch. He should be over 40 fantasy points once again. ****
Donovan Mitchell, UTA vs ATL ($8,300): Mitchell has been over value in three of his last four. Once again, the Jazz are getting a game against a team outside the playoff picture. It’s their fourth straight game against a non-playoff team. Mitchell needs 33.6 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. He should push 40 fantasy points once again and is reliable as a high salary guy, if nothing else. ****
