Offensive Guard. Notre Dame. Quenton Nelson. 11. player. 59.

The Miami Dolphins struggled mightily in 2017, mostly because they go nothing from the quarterback position. During the Summer, starter Ryan Tannehill blew up his knee again, which meant the organization had to reach out to Jay Cutler to assume the position. Cutler showed why he belonged in the broadcast booth, as a Miami team that went to the playoffs the year before, ended up with one of the worst records in the NFL.

As they head into next season, Tannehill should be back and healthy. Kenyon Drake ended up being a solid running back after the team let go of Jay Ajayi, and is going to be one of the top backs in the AFC East this season. The team needs to bring in players to protect both Tannehill and Drake, and Quenton Nelson is the best offensive lineman in this draft class.

Many believe Nelson is the best player in this draft class, though he could fall out of the top-10 with how things are shaping up. If he does, Miami would be getting the kind of player they can build their offensive line around. The tape on Nelson is just incredible, and at the NFL level, he could be a Pro Bowl player in year one.
