2018 NFL Mock Draft: Jets trade up for Josh Rosen
By Brad Weiss
And just like that, the New York Jets will be picking in the top-3 of the 2018 NFL Draft. The Jets swung a deal with the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, moving up three spots from pick No. 6. Now in prime position to draft a quarterback, you can bet that the Jets will be selecting a signal-caller who could wind up being their franchise guy for the next 15 years.
The Jets have a lot of holes to fill on the roster, and recently they brought back Josh McCown, and added Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback. Their biggest score of the offseason so far has been locking up cornerback Trumaine Johnson, who was the most coveted free agent at his position this free agency period. Johnson joins a secondary that is already loaded with talent.
For Jets fans, it has been a long time since they have had anything resembling a franchise quarterback. At No. 3, Josh Rosen should be available to them, especially if their Metlife roommate Giants go running back at No. 2. Rosen has the talent to be a special player at the next level, and these Jets fans deserve a quarterback they can be proud of.
