Our week is a packed one in the EuroLeague with a two game week for everyone. It continues with four more games on our Wednesday. Shved is in action today, with less value plays. We have to do some maneuvering here.
The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from!

Guards:
Alexey Shved put up 46.5 DraftKings points, one of the best games of any Euro Leaguer this season, against Efes in the first meeting. I don’t care if he is 1/4 of our salary. He is worth the money. Fading him is nearly impossible today.
If you are hell bent on fading Shved, Nemanja Nedovic is a great option. If you want to cram both him and Shved in your lineup, they could be lethal. Nedovic put up 39.25 in the first meeting with Barcelona. Thomas Heurtel had that exact same score against Nedovic and Unicaja in the first meeting, but he has been nowhere near as consistent as Nedovic.
Sergio Rodriguez and Vasslils Spanoulis both played well against each other in the first meeting. This is a tough matchup for each, but if they can pull it off again, they could help you out with solid numbers and very low ownership.
My go-to Bamberg value plays of Ricky Hickman and Dino Hackett are still in play today. If you are only using one, I prefer Hackett. His numbers have been more consistent. Dragan Milosavljevic has six straight rounds of double digit DraftKings points if you need to go even cheaper. At that point though, I would rather ride the hot hand of Petteri Koponen. Yes, I would even take him over Pau Ribas right now.
Keep an eye on the status of Marcelinho Huertas. If he is cleared to play, I think I like him as the value play, even over Koponen.
Forwards:
We also have to keep an eye on the status of Tornike Shengelia as well. He was out last week, and is still listed as questionable for today. If he plays, Shengelia is a solid option against Bamberg. However, I still like Dorell Wright over anyone if you are going to pay up for a forward.
Ante Tomic has been on a tear lately, which has resulted in his price going way up. However, he has the best matchup on the board for forwards today. Anthony Gill gets the second worst team against forwards, so if you aren’t spending up at guard, Gill and Tomic could be a nice frontcourt duo.
Sonny Weems was cold from the floor in round 26, but he still put up solid numbers. The main thing to take away is that the shots and minutes were still there. Weems remains the best offensive option for Efes. He should get back on track against Khimki today. Vladimir Stimac is a solid option playing alongside Weems with Zoran Dragic still out.
The injury to Shengelia and the ineffectiveness of Rodrigue Beaubois has left the door wide open for Johannes Voigtmann. Voigtmann has responded with 76.5 DraftKings points over the last three rounds. I like Voigtmann regardless of the status of Shengelia. Vincent Poirer is the one that will lose minutes with Shengelia back.
Adrien Moerman has been superb with Kevin Seraphin and Adam Hanga out. Hanga is still out, but Seraphin could return today. If he does, I like Moerman less. If both are out, Moerman is one of my favorite value plays once again. Victor Claver is a strong value play once again so long as Seraphin remains out. If he returns, you will have to look elsewhere.
