Call it a gut feeling, but the Duke Blue Devils just seem like that team. They have depth, they have talent, they have elite guards and talented bigs, they have leadership and plenty of youth. Duke just has what it takes to bring Mike Krzyzewski yet another national title.

Although the Blue Devils earned just a No. 2 seed, they’ve surely been playing like a 1-seed thus far. They have a couple of blowout wins over Iona and Rhode Island. The latter was slightly surprising because everyone thought the Rams would give the Blue Devils a hard time.

Up next is No. 11-seeded Syracuse which is coming off upsets of TCU and Michigan State. Many people wanted to see a rematch of Michigan State and Duke in this year’s tournament, but the Spartans couldn’t make shots to save their lives in the round of 32.

Duke, led by Grayson Allen and Marvin Bagley III, will have a decent road to the Final Four as long as it can take care of the teams that it’s supposed to — Syracuse and likely Kansas.

The Blue Devils look like the current national title favorites.
