High Value SF
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL at NO ($6,200): After missing value in two straight, Caldwell-Pope bounced back with 26.75 fantasy points against the Pacers on Monday. He needs 27.3 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. The Pelicans are 17th against shooting guards in their last 15 games. Caldwell-Pope had 31 fantasy points against them on Feb. 14 and has been over 30 fantasy points against them in both games this season. Expect him around 30 fantasy points once again on Thursday. ***
Jeremy Lamb, CHA vs MEM ($5,700): Lamb had 30.25 fantasy points against the Nets on Wednesday. When he’s the starter, you can typically count on him to give you at least 30 fantasy points. Both teams are on a back-to-back, but the Hornets are at home, which favors them slightly. Also, they’re just a better team than the Grizzlies at this point. Expect Lamb to have another solid outing and even though I didn’t list him, Kemba Walker is reliable when playing alongside Lamb. ***
Robert Covington, PHI at ORL ($5,600): Covington had 22.5 fantasy points in 23 minutes against the Grizzlies on Wednesday. He had 24.75 fantasy points in 27 minutes against the Magic on Feb. 24. The hope is that the Magic make things competitive enough to where Covington plays enough minutes to give you at least 25 fantasy points, but that’s no guarantee. His salary doesn’t make him the risk of other Philadelphia players, but it’s possible he comes in under value if this one doesn’t last past the third quarter. ***
