FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 22, 2018
High Value PG
De’Aaron Fox, SAC vs ATL ($5,700): Fox had 22.6 fantasy points against the Pistons on Monday. Buddy Hield’s recent performances has cut into the production of Fox, but he still posts the highest usage rate of any Sacramento player in their last 15 games. The Hawks are 26th against the position in their last 15 games. The matchup is good for Fox and this one should be a relatively high scoring affair, putting Fox over value. ***
Isaiah Thomas, LAL at NO ($5,600): Thomas has been brutal in his last couple of games. He had 8.9 fantasy points against the Heat and followed that up with 18.1 fantasy points against the Pacers. But this is a matchup that he should be able to take advantage of. His energy and scoring off the bench could give a tired Pelicans group a lot of trouble. The Lakers want to play the role of spoiler and show they can compete with playoff teams heading into next season. And Thomas want to earn that offseason cash. ****
J.J. Barea, DAL vs UTA ($5,600): Barea had 23.8 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Tuesday, putting him just under value. His salary has dipped to where he needs 24.2 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. The Jazz are a tough matchup with their defense, but with Dennis Smith Jr. out of the lineup, Barea will have the opportunity to produce a strong game. Expect the Jazz to look better than they did against the Hawks, but circumstances should put Barea over value. Yogi Ferrell is a cheaper option who will have similar opportunities. ***
