Here’s all the information you need on tip times, tv schedule and scores to enjoy this weekend’s March Madness Sweet 16 games.
After a wild opening weekend that saw two of the No. 1 seeds in the tournament fall, including the first ever No. 16 or a No. 1 upset, it’s time to roll into the Sweet 16. These games are all scheduled for Thursday and Friday evening on CBS and TBS, with the Elite Eight to follow on Saturday and Sunday. Games can also be viewed on the March Madness app.
There are several exciting matchups to watch. Loyola-Chicago and Nevada are two Cinderellas facing off with each other, guaranteeing that at least one of the two teams will have a chance to fight for the Final Four. Kansas and Villanova now look like favorites but both have games against tough opponents this round in Clemson and West Virginia. Texas A&M blew through to this round, but Michigan needed a dramatic buzzer beater to make it.
Gonzaga hasn’t looked as strong as year’s past and will get a challenge from Florida State. Kentucky’s freshman are rising to the challenge but they’ll need to get through Kansas State first. Duke may have as much talent as anyone left in the Tournament but they’ll need to figure out Syracuse’s 2-3 zone first. Texas Tech is a Final Four sleeper but they’ll have a tough matchup with Purdue, even without Isaac Haas.
