Our big week of EuroLeague action ends with the same eight teams that were in action on Wednesday. Once again, the guard matchups are rough, so it’s much more tempting to load up on forwards. It looks as though Kevin Seraphin is out again, as is Adam Hanga, so the Barcelona frontcourt can yield a lot of value. Keep an eye on Tyler Honeycutt. It’s looking like he is out again as well. The status of Kostas Papanikolaou is the only one that seems close to playing.
The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from!

Guards:
Alexey Shved and Nando de Colo combined for a total of 27.5 DraftKings points against each other in the first meeting. That is both of them combined! Fading both looks to be the way to go today. I’m still on Nemanja Nedovic after another solid round. The fact that he put up 35 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Bamberg doesn’t hurt.
Despite a tougher matchup, Thomas Huertel is another solid play. With Barcelona’s frontcourt battling a rash of injuries, Huertel has picked up the scoring lately. If you can’t afford Huertel, Vassilis Spanoulis has another strong matchup and has 82 DraftKings points over the last three rounds.
Cory Higgins has outperformed Sergio Rodriguez and Nando de Colo lately. He also had 33 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Khimki. Higgins makes for an interesting GPP play.
Ricky Hickman and Daniel Hackett remain very good value plays against Unicaja. I prefer Hickman over Hackett, but using both is not out of the question either if you need to save money. Petteri Koponen looks like a stronger play than both right now with 73.25 DraftKings points over the last three rounds. He will also save you several hundred.
Nikos Zisis has quietly put up back to back games of over 20 DraftKings points, and he is still just $4,300. You may not need the value today, but it’s still nice to have, especially if using Huertel and Nedovic.

Forwards:
Tornike Shengelia put up 43.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Barcelona, but he has not hit that mark since. It may make more sense to go with Dorell Wright, who is playing the worst frontcourt defense in the league. Will Clyburn has a nice matchup with Khimki, but he only turned that into 18 DraftKings points the first time around.
James Augustine has at least 25 DraftKings points in seven straight rounds. That is pretty rare by EuroLeague standards. If you don’t pay a lot of attention to matchups, Ante Tomic is a strong play again with Barcelona depleted up front. Tomic has 77.75 DraftKings points over the last two games.
Georgios Printezis has had tougher matchups lately, but he still has eight straight games with more than 22 DraftKings points. With a nice matchup against Efes on tap, he should have no issues hitting that tonight. I also love Sonny Weems, but hate the matchup.
Augustine Rubit went nuts with 36.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Unicaja. Nikolva Multinov also has a good matchup tonight if you are looking to stay in this price range.
Jamel McLean has a stellar matchup with Efes, and seems to be back on track lately with at least 16 DraftKings points in each of the last four rounds. Othello Hunter has also been a solid producer lately, but has little upside. I think I would rather drop all the way down to Leon Radosevic. Radosevic has racked up 60 DraftKings points over the last three games.
Daniel Diez is going to be a wildly popular play, but his game on Wednesday literally came out of nowhere. The 34.75 DraftKings points that he dropped on Barcelona was more than he had in the previous four games combined! The more prudent play would be to target Baskonia players taking on Barcelona today.
