Can the Indiana Pacers continue surprising in the NBA playoffs?
By Keith Parish
The Pacers have surpassed almost every preseason expectation by cruising towards a playoff berth. After trading away their franchise cornerstone Paul George in a deal that was roundly lamented, not much was anticipated from Indiana. Victor Oladipo had other plans though, and went from being on lists for “Worst NBA Contracts” to making the 2018 All-Star Game and being a potential franchise savior.
So as the Pacers continue to fight for home-court advantage in the first round and prepare for the playoffs, what issues do they need to address? To find out, Caitlin Cooper (@C2_Cooper) joins the latest episode of Fastbreak Breakfast. In addition to answering that question, we also cover the following topics:
- Which Indiana reunion has meant the most: Oladipo or Lance Stephenson?
- What is it like as a fan having to depend on Born Ready-production on a nightly basis?
- Has Myles Turner’s progress stagnated? Will he ever develop an array of offensive moves and become a consistent secondary scorer?
- Darren Collison is having a career year, but statistically the best Pacers lineups are with Cory Joseph. How should the team juggle their playing time?
- After a career of coaching teams with a slow pace, what finally convinced Nate McMillan to play uptempo?
- Hickory High uniforms: yay or nay?
