High Value SG

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL at MEM ($6,300): While the Grizzlies will look better than they did on Thursday, there is no reason why the Lakers can’t post a big scoring game on them. Caldwell-Pope had 34.8 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Thursday and has been over value in six of his last seven. He had 42.9 fantasy points in the Jan. 15 matchup against the Lakers and needs 25.2 fantasy points to reach value on Saturday. Expect him over 30 fantasy points once again. ****

Eric Gordon, HOU vs NO ($5,200): No Chris Paul means great things for the value of Gordon. He had 35.1 fantasy points against the Pistons on Thursday. As a starter, he averages over 30 fantasy points and simply performs better as the second option. He needs 20.8 fantasy points to reach value on Saturday. The Pelicans don’t defend well from deep and Gordon will get plenty of great looks. Expect him around 30 fantasy points in this one. ****

J.J. Redick, PHI vs MIN ($4,600): Redick has missed value in three straight, but in fairness to him, the Sixers have been blowing teams out and Redick isn’t even playing 20 minutes a night right now. Seeing have the Timberwolves will be the first playoff team the Sixers have faced in six games, there is reason to believe that Redick’s minutes will be up. If you don’t trust that, Luke Kennard is a better option at the same salary. But if Redick plays around 30 minutes, he’ll be well over the 18.4 fantasy points he needs to reach value in this one. ***
