Only 550 ESPN brackets correctly picked 2018 Final Four
The 2018 NCAA Tournament has been absolute insanity, and the number of people who correctly picked the Final Four on ESPN brackets backs that up.
College basketball always gets a bit zany when it comes to March Madness — it’s in the name after all. However, not every March is created equally in terms of said madness. Case in point, the 2018 NCAA Tournament has been absolutely wild. From UMBC’s upset of the No. 1 overall seeded Virginia Cavaliers to the numerous other major upsets, it’s been a bracket-busting extravaganza.
Perhaps the biggest story in terms of that has been the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers. The No. 11 seed in the South Region has gone on a cinderella run for the ages. With a buzzer-beater to beat the Miami Hurricanes in the First Round, a late 3-pointer to topple the Nevada Wolf Pack in the Sweet 16, they made it to the Elite Eight. And once there, they turned it up further to dominate the Kansas State Wildcats to advance to the Final Four.
While the other regions have had their craziness, they have been more normal than Loyola’s run to the Final Four. Playing the Rambles will be the No. 3 seeded Michigan Wolverines in San Antonio. Meanwhile, the right side of the bracket has ultimately played out with chalk as the No. 1 seeds, the Villanova Wildcats and Kansas Jayhawks, advanced to the Final Four.
But given the Ramblers’ presence and even Michigan’s run, you better believe that brackets all over the country have been busted. In fact, almost 100 percent of ESPN brackets have been as only 550 people out of 17.3 million that filled out brackets on the site correctly picked the Final Four, per ESPN’s Darren Rovell:

That percentage of perfect Final Four picks is absolutely stunning. And just imagine if Loyola is able to pull off yet another upset — then things could get even more insane in terms of the numbers. Either way, this just goes to show how mad this March truly has been.
