Denver Broncos full 2018 NFL mock draft

The Denver Broncos will be picking in the top-five of the 2018 NFL Draft. Here is the latest NFL mock draft for the Broncos.
2017 was a tough year for the Denver Broncos. Just two years removed from winning Super Bowl 50 over the Carolina Panthers, Denver stumbled to a terrible 5-11. They didn’t win a game for over two months and could not figure out the quarterback position for the life of them.
Fortunately, all but Paxton Lynch are gone from the Broncos organization. Trevor Siemian essentially swapped teams with Case Keenum, the presumed 2018 starter. Siemian will back up the handsomely paid Kirk Cousins with the Minnesota Vikings. The big question is if he likes that or not? Also, Brock Osweiler took his football talents to South Beach. He’ll be reunited with his former offensive coordinator Adam Gase with the Miami Dolphins.
So let’s just say that 2017 was the nadir for the Broncos’ post-Super Bowl 50 rebuild. They retained head coach Vance Joseph for another season. Promoting former quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave to offensive coordinator looks to be the right call. Denver also has a ton of picks in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft.
The Broncos have 10 picks in the draft. Four will be coming in the top-100. Their top six picks are all inside the top-110. Denver has needs at quarterback, safety, wide receiver, running back, guard, offensive tackle, tight end and out on the edge. Here is the latest NFL mock draft for the Broncos.
First Round
Denver might have a capable starter for now in Keenum, but let’s be real. He’s not the long-term answer under center for Bronco Country. Denver has the No. 5 overall pick and would only serve the Broncos to take a signal caller with that selection. The clear choice here, if available, would be Josh Rosen of the UCLA Bruins.
Rosen is probably the most pro-ready quarterback in the draft. He is the purest thrower of the football and could compete for playing time his rookie season. The guy is cerebral, as well as a bit outspoken. Doesn’t he remind you of somebody we know from Broncos’ lore? That would be the greatest player in franchise history in quarterback John Elway, the same guy that will be in charge of drafting Rosen out of UCLA.
In three years in Westwood, Rosen completed 60.9 percent of his passes for 9,340 yards, 59 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. He had a quarterback rating of 140.1 during his three years quarterbacking UCLA, where he made 30 career starts.
Rosen is 6-foot-4, 226 pounds with 9 7/8 inch hands. His NFL prototypes are Matt Ryan, Jared Goff and Teddy Bridgewater. Rosen might be slender and a tad injury prone, but there is a chance he could be a superstar in the Mile High City. Look for Rosen to provide long-term stability at the quarterback position in the same AFC West that features Derek Carr, Patrick Mahomes and future Pro Football Hall of Famer Philip Rivers.
