Aiming for an NFL comeback, Johnny Manziel will throw in front of all 32 NFL teams at Texas A&M’s pro day.

After throwing at San Diego State’s pro day last week, Johnny Manziel will throw at his alma mater Texas A&M’s pro day on Tuesday.

Manziel will get another opportunity to showcase his talents in front of all 32 NFL teams. While the teams are not necessarily there to watch Manziel throw, he is using this as a unique opportunity to get in front of NFL scouts.

Since 2015, Manziel has been a free agent dealing with legal trouble, but has since attended rehab in hopes of resurrecting his NFL career. After being selected with the 22nd-overall pick by the Cleveland Browns in the 2014 draft, Manziel was a major disappointment on and off the field.

Recently, Manziel has admitted he has been dealing with bipolar disorder and sought treatment. While seemingly possessing all of the talent in the world while at Texas A&M, Manziel’s temperament is what concerned teams in the draft and ultimately led to him being released by the Browns.

Now that Manziel is sober, he may get another shot with an NFL team. If he has a good head on his shoulders going forward, expect a team to take a shot on him. Manziel is only 25 years old. If he surrounds himself with the right people and commits to a sober lifestyle, he could have a long and successful career ahead of him.

If an NFL team decides to give him a second chance, look for Manziel to go to a team with an established veteran QB that can teach him the ropes. The New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees, for example, would be a good fit.

The road may be tough, but it will be worth it in the end if Manziel turns his life around.  Throwing at the A&M pro day may be the first step toward success for Manziel’s return to the NFL.
