NCAA Tournament 2018: Ranking remaining teams in Final Four
Here we are again. Another NCAA Tournament and another Final Four appearance for Jay Wright and Villanova. OK, so the head coach has only been to three Final Fours — only is a harsh term — in his 17 years as the Wildcats’ head coach, but they’ve all come since 2009.
Just two years ago, the Wildcats were able to win their first national title since 1985. They’ve been one of the staples of the NCAA Tournament over the years and have won at least 32 games in four straight seasons now. If the Wildcats win the national title, they will finish with the most wins in a single season in school history.

Their road has seemed like somewhat of a cakewalk despite the fact that they’ve played a number of solid teams such as West Virginia and Texas Tech.
In fact, the Wildcats have four wins by double-digits, beating Radford by 16 in the first round, Alabama by 23 in the second round, West Virginia by 12 in the Sweet 16 and Texas Tech also by a dozen in the Elite Eight. No other team has been as lightly-tested, scoreboard-wise, than Villanova to this point.
