Not only can’t people get enough of playing or watching Fortnite, they can’t get enough of uploading videos about it either.

If you’re at all tuned in to the world of video games, you’ve undoubtedly caught wind of the phenomenon that is Fortnite. The Battle Royale mode of Epic Games’ sensation has been the hottest thing to hit gaming in a while, so ubiquitous that athletes, rappers and other celebrities are mentioning it seemingly nonstop. But it’s even more prevalent for streamers on Twitch and YouTube, the latter of which has released some interesting stats to show just how crazy people are for Fortnite content.

According to a YouTube press release distributed this week, Fortnite broke the all-time record for most uploads for a video game in a single month in February. It also was the top video game in terms of downloads for January too, but it really ramped up the next month to set a new global upload mark.

YouTube Gaming has been doing plenty of big numbers for live streams as well. This past weekend saw the service host the YouTube Battle Royale, an even that brought more than 100 creators together for, what else, Fortnite. That event racked up a total of 42 million live views combined, with one creator, elrubiousOMG, enjoying an audience of 1.1 million concurrent viewers and nearly 16 millions total views as of this article.

That’s for one stream from one streamer.

Those kinds of insane stats are hard to put into context, but they help tell the story of how Fortnite is riding the wave it’s on right now, with YouTube Gaming and Twitch serving as the swell. It remains to be seen how long it can keep up at the current pace or if there’s even room to climb higher, but there’s no denying that right now, there’s streaming Fortnite and there’s streaming everything else.
