FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 28, 2018
High Salary PG
Kemba Walker, CHA vs CLE ($8,600): Walker had 40.9 fantasy points against the Knicks on Monday. The return of Nicolas Batum is going to cut into Walker’s value as he was the primary option prior to his injury. But Batum is on a minutes restriction for the time being, so Walker should continue to see a heavy usage rate until Batum is operating at 100 percent. Walker has contributed 35 fantasy points in both games against the Cavaliers this season, but those contests were back in November. The Cavaliers defense is still suspect and they’re on a back-to-back. ***
Jeff Teague, MIN vs ATL ($7,600): The Timberwolves failed to beat the Grizzlies on Monday, but Teague did his part, posting 41.9 fantasy points in that contest. The Hawks are 30th against the position in their last 15 games. Even though the Timberwolves have slipped as of late, Teague has been a strong play with Jimmy Butler out of the lineup. He still plays 35-plus minutes a night and posts a 34 percent usage rate, trailing only Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns. He should push 40 fantasy points once again. ****
Dennis Smith Jr., DAL at LAL ($7,500): Smith Jr. had 23.9 fantasy points against the Kings on Tuesday. It’s not a great sign for his value on Wednesday that he struggled a bit against the Kings, but he has the best matchup of the remaining players as the Lakers are 23rd against the position in their last 15 games. He’s averaging 30.7 fantasy points in three games against the Lakers this season and needs 33.5 fantasy points to reach value on Wednesday. ***
