Alabama. Calvin Ridley. 16. player. 26. . Wide Receiver

The Baltimore Ravens came one game from making it to the playoffs last season, and all of that despite the fact they were pretty pedestrian on offense. Well, the team made a big move this offseason by signing Michael Crabtree, who will be the team’s top wide receiver this season. With their first round pick in April, they should look to bring in another wideout, and Calvin Ridley should be the first one off the board.

Ridley is a phenomenal talent, and he played very productive football during his time at Alabama. Playing in mostly a run-first offense, Ridley made a bunch of big plays for the Crimson Tide, helping lead them to two national titles in the last three seasons. He is going to be a playmaker at the next level, and this Ravens team showed they need players like him through their 16-game campaign in 2017.

The Ravens still have a wonderful defense, and they should be able to win games thanks to the talent on that side of the ball. Bringing in a tandem like Crabtree and Ridley would give quarterback Joe Flacco the weapons he needs to possibly put together a solid season for the first time since the Super Bowl run. The window is closing in Baltimore, so bolstering the offense with the first round pick makes a lot of sense.
