The Los Angeles Chargers have a lot going for them heading into the offseason. Not only did they make a serious run towards the playoffs last season, but their team seems poised to possibly win the AFC West in 2018. They have talent on both sides of the ball, and if they can get the draft right, they could be a team that finds themselves winning a lot more than they lose next season.

This offseason, the solidified part of their offensive line by signing former Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey. He is a phenomenal get for the organization, and with their first round pick, they should bring in more talent along the line. The Chargers need a long-term solution at left tackle, and Mike McGlinchey from Texas is the best player at his position in  this draft class.

McGlinchey could have been a top-5 pick last year, but he decided to return to Notre Dame for one more year. That worked out well, as he and Quenton Nelson teamed up to give the Fighting Irish the best offensive line in the country. The Chargers are going to be a solid team next season, and if they bolster the offensive line,  they could end up getting a couple more productive seasons out of the aging Philip Rivers at quarterback.
