46. . Offensive Guard. Notre Dame. Quenton Nelson. 6. player

The Indianapolis Colts struggled mightily last season without Andrew Luck, who was only supposed to miss some of the year. However, his shoulder just never healed, and they ended up losing a lot of games with Jacoby Brissett under center. Luck expects to be ready for Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season, but we have heard that song before.

If he is ready, the team needs to make sure he has some talent in front of him on the offensive line. One player who could be available at No. 6 overall is Quenton Nelson, who is by far the best offensive lineman in this draft class. The tape on Nelson is downright disgusting, and he is a player who could be a Pro Bowler in year one.

The Colts need to keep Luck upright, as they do not want to get in a situation where his career is shortened due to injury. He has led them deep into the playoffs before, and there is no reason why he cannot do that again. The Colts have the talent to be competitive in the AFC South next season, but they need a healthy Luck, and Nelson can help make sure he is not always running for his life, or being flattened on his back.
