High Salary SG
Victor Oladipo, IND at SAC ($8,500): After missing value in four straight, Oladipo has been over value in four straight. He needs 39.9 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. There’s a chance that the Pacers blowout the Kings, leading to less playing time for Oladipo, thus hurting his value. He’s going to put up points for as long as he plays and he’ll be over 30 fantasy points without too much trouble, but pushing 40 fantasy points could be a struggle. Proceed with caution. ***
Khris Middleton, MIL at GS ($7,700): Middleton has been over value in ten straight. He’s been been extremely consistent in recent weeks, but his last two games against the Warriors have not been good. He had 19.25 fantasy points against them on Jan. 12. The Warriors are a different team right now with their injuries and the Bucks still have a lot to play for. Expect him to be over value against the Warriors for the first time in three games. ****
Bradley Beal, WAS at DET ($7,400): John Wall’s return could complicate things for Beal, who seems to be running on fumes recent. He’s been value in five straight, going 10-plus fantasy points under value in three of those games. If Wall plays, that will take some pressure off of Beal, which should help his overall game. But it will also take opportunities from him. Fortunately, his salary has dipped low enough to where Wall will be more help than hindrance. If Wall doesn’t play, he’s a bit of a risk based on recent play. ***
