Dan Quinn: Travel photographer

Dan Quinn had always wanted to run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. He saved, he researched and finally, he did it, landing in Spain 10 years ago. But when push came to shove, and he laid eyes on the bulls in person, he couldn’t run. But he did bring a fancy new camera with him and he found a thrill another way: By photographing the run from a safe distance.

Bitten by the bug, Quinn has since been traveling the world, snapping shots of its most iconic moments, buildings and beaches while also taking candid portraits of citizens living their daily lives. It’s been rewarding, financially lucrative and peaceful. He has no idea Atlanta even has an NFL franchise.

Ron Rivera: Boat salesman

As head coach of the Carolina Panthers, Ron Rivera has earned the nickname “Riverboat Ron,” for his penchant for high-risk playcalling that resembles high-stakes gambling more than traditional football strategy. But in another life, he’s “Riverboat Ron” for another reason: His discount boating outlet. Let’s hear about it from Rivera himself:

"Come on down to Riverboat Ron’s House of Boats! While it’s not really a house—it’s more like a big ol’ lot—you’ll feel right at home with my variety of aquatic craft sold straight to you at reasonable prices! Oh, we have riverboats, of course, but that’s not all we have here at Riverboat Ron’s! Oh, no! We have lake boats, ocean boats, SEA BOATS! Big boats, little boats, very big boats, yacht-boats, paddle boats, pontoon boats, SAIL BOATS! Fishing boats, sporting boats, speedboats and canoes, which are a type of boat that doesn’t have boat in its name! The only thing I can promise is that we have no dilapidated boats! No dilapadated boats! Yes, come on down to Riverboat Ron’s, where riverboats aren’t even the HALF of it!"
