3. Manchester City held to draw by Everton

One of the more intriguing matches of the weekend is on Saturday, when Everton host Manchester City and Goodison Park. Big Sam has turned the Toffees’ season around after a dismal start and if he continues in the job, then he could build a strong squad over the summer.

City have barely slowed down at all this season, and the few defeats they’ve had haven’t hurt their form. Pep Guardiola’s side always seem to get back to winning ways, a credit to the belief and focus he’s instilled in them.

A trip to Everton is certainly not an easy match, but Guardiola will fancy his side’s chances of coming away with all three points. Big Sam likes to sit back against the bigger teams in hope of grabbing a goal on the break.

Unless you have similar attacking power at your disposal, this tactic is the only real way to beat Manchester City this year. Wigan showed this when they defeated the Light Blues in the FA Cup earlier this season.

However, this game is going to take a strange turn, when Manchester City take the lead only for Everton to fight back and go in front themselves. However, the Toffees won’t hold onto the lead and it will finish all square at 2-2.
