5. West Brom lose at home to Burnley

West Brom are another club under pressure and Alan Pardew can consider himself quite fortunate to still be in his job. The Baggies have probably left it too late to change manager, meaning Pardew needs to do something miraculous to keep them up.

This weekend they have a difficult game at home against a rejuvenated Burnley side. The Clarets endured a rough patch in the middle of the season, going winless in 12 matches, but they’ve turned things around with back-to-back wins.

Sean Dyche will know his side are capable of winning this match, and they should thrive on West Brom’s current insecurity at the back. The Baggies don’t look confident in defense and Burnley’s improved goalscoring this season makes them more of a threat going forward.

Pardew needs a win in this match, but his side might be lucky just to get a point. Burnley’s improved record away from home has seen them comfortably hold seventh place in the league without much challenge.

Expect Burnley to come away from The Hawthorns with a 2-1 victory over the Baggies and consign Pardew to even more misery.
