High Salary SG

James Harden, HOU vs PHO ($11,500): The only concern for Harden is a lack of playing time. He needs 54.1 fantasy points to reach value and if he plays less than 30 minutes, there’s a good chance he falls short of 50 fantasy points. But if Chris Paul doesn’t play, Harden will put up plenty of points and assists for as long as he’s in the game. He’s good for a guaranteed 40-plus fantasy points and he is averaging 59.8 fantasy points in just 33 minutes in his last five games against the Suns. You know you’re getting big numbers with him, but his ceiling might be limited if this one is over early. ****

Eric Gordon, HOU vs PHO ($7,800): Gordon posted 39.75 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Bulls on Tuesday. Chris Paul is listed as questionable and if he doesn’t play, Gordon will pick up another start. He’s averaging 32.9 fantasy points as a starter this season. He needs 36.7 fantasy points to reach value, but given the matchup, that shouldn’t be a problem, even if his minutes are a bit limited. ****

CJ McCollum, POR vs LAC ($7,700): McCollum bounced back from his 24.5 fantasy point effort against the Pelicans with 55.75 fantasy points against the Grizzlies. Granted, Damian Lillard didn’t play in that one, putting McCollum as the top option. The matchup is a great one for McCollum has the Clippers are 29th against shooting guards in their last 15 games. McCollum remains a strong number two option and should push 40 fantasy points in this one. ****
