Try not to enjoy Moe Wagner’s majestic wink (Video)

Moe Wagner winking deserves its own National Championship award.
There might not be a more visible player in the NCAA Tournament than Moe Wagner. He’s physically unable to avoid, standing at almost 7-feet tall, the German-born basketball brute has stolen the hearts of everyone he’s encountered.
Even those loyal to Sister Jean had to admit Wagner is a wonder to behold.
He’s also a major reason Michigan made it as deep into the madness of March as they have. Heading into the National Championship Game, Wagner was absolutely the hottest star in Texas and he contninued to deliever on all counts.
After his hot start, Wagner winked (we think?) at his teammates to let them know everything was all good.
Michigan coming into the game as underdogs felt a little facetious. Outside of an escape job againt Houston in the Round of 32, the Wolverines have handled their opponents with relative ease. Through the first half of the National Championship, Michigan was holding off a historic offense in Villanova, and Wagner was front-and-center on that.
Maybe if he played for Duke, Wagner would be unbarable. But he doesn’t, which means we can enjoy the hell out of everything he does and not feel bad about it.
Anyone who says that Wagner and his majestic wink isn’t the best thing in the tournament is lying.
