The Masters have added ‘dilly, dilly’ to a list of banned phrases. Here are some others you should probably never say, just to be safe.
“Dilly, dilly” is a phrase, coined by Bud Light and popularized through an incessant inexplicably medieval-themed ad campaign, that certain types of people feel inclined to shout during certain sporting events. However, those people are not the organizers of The Masters, who have reportedly banned the shouting of the phrase, among others, at the only golf event anyone who would actually say “dilly, dilly” actually knows. If you shout “dilly, dilly” at The Masters, you will get kicked out of The Masters.
The PGA Tour apparently has quite a problem with fans getting disruptive on the course and while Big Golf can probably stand to loosen their collars some, this feels like a fair request. Arguably of greater public interest is the other phrases that will get you kicked out of The Masters, because again, banning the chanting of “dilly, dilly” seems like a policy every establishment should adopt.
So, until we find out what those other phrases are, here are a number of other phrases you should probably never say again, just to be safe.

Godspeed to all attendants of The Masters. Probably best to stay silent, forever, and keep to golf claps.
