The New Orleans Saints used a new blueprint to make it back to the playoffs, and boy did it ever work. For years, the Saints relied on Drew Brees to throw them to victories, but that all changed in 2017. While Brees had another standout year, the running back tandem of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara led the offense, and the defense was solid for the first time in forever.

Thanks to the running game and defense, the Saints won more than seven games for the first time in four years. They recently signed Brees to a new two-year extension, so the window is set for them to make a run at his second ring. With their first round pick, they should bring in a weapon for Brees, and Courtland Sutton is a good-looking wideout prospect.

Michael Thomas is one of the best wideouts in the NFC, but he needs help. If the Saints grab a player like Sutton this late in round one, they will have quite the explosive offense next season. The defense is legit, the running backs are solid, and now Brees finally has the support system to be the best team in the NFC one more time. Sutton will be a breakout star in the Saints offense.
