57. . Linebacker. Virginia Tech. Tremaine Edmunds. 8. player

The Chicago Bears knew who they wanted during the 2017 NFL Draft, trading up one spot to grab Mitchell Trubisky from North Carolina. Trubisky played well despite having no real weapons as a rookie last season, showing the Bears have their franchise quarterback in place. Entering the 2018 NFL Draft, they should shift their focus to the defense, especially at the linebacker position.

One player who should hear his name called in the top-10 is Tremaine Edmunds, a freak of an athlete from Virginia Tech. Only 19-years old, Edmunds has the kind of talent that teams dream about, and should be an impact player early at the next level. The Bears are building up a nice roster in the Windy City, and Edmunds could be that star linebacker they have been missing since Brian Urlacher.

While still very young, Edmunds has the kind of physical attributes that are needed to be a star player in the NFL. He is very fast, and strong, and has one of the better football IQs of any player in this draft class. That is saying a lot, and in a division where you have to play Aaron Rodgers twice a season, adding an elite player to the second level of the defense makes a lot of sense for the Bears at No. 8.
