High Value C

Greg Monroe, BOS at TOR ($5,100): The Raptors are 27th against the position in their last 15 games, but Monroe managed just 19.4 fantasy points against them on Saturday. If Monroe plays over 20 minutes, he’s a virtual lock to hit value. But in less than 20 minutes, he has a hard time hitting 20-plus fantasy points. The matchup is good, but his minutes chance on a game-to-game basis. He has the highest ceiling for the three guys listed, but may not play enough to make a real impact. **

Mike Muscala, ATL vs MIA ($4,300): Muscala benefitted from Dewayne Dedmon being out of the lineup on Tuesday, contributing 26.4 fantasy points against the heat. Even with Dedmon in the lineup, he’s been a solid contributor off the bench for the Hawks. If Dedmon missed Wednesday’s game, it bodes well for Muscala’s value. He’s a nice low cost option who gets guaranteed minutes and usage in Atlanta. He should be over 20 fantasy points once again. ***

Richaun Holmes, PHI at DET ($4,200): Holmes had 35 fantasy points against the Nets on Tuesday. He’s a more productive player than Amir Johnson even though he’s coming off the bench for Johnson. With Joel Embiid out of the lineup, he’s seeing more playing time and making the most of the opportunity. He’s not a great option, but he’s going to see minutes, especially against Andre Drummond, and that counts for something this time of year. *
