High Salary SG

James Harden, HOU vs POR ($11,400): Harden had 70.5 fantasy points against the Wizards on Tuesday. He’s been over 60 fantasy points in two games against the Trail Blazers this season and needs 53.5 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. With Chris Paul back in the lineup, his value is slightly lessened, but not enough to deter you from taking him. Paul is always a solid bet due to the Rockets system, but Harden has been the better players this season and has the higher ceiling. He’ll get you at least 50 fantasy points in this one. ****

CJ McCollum, POR at HOU ($7,500): No Damian Lillard means McCollum is the top option in Portland on Thursday. He needs 35.2 fantasy points to reach value against the Rockets. Houston has a strong defense when they are engaged, but they have nothing to play for and could be prone to mental lapses, not wanting to risk things heading into the playoffs. McCollum will get his shots and given how good of an offensive player he is, he’ll make his fair share while chipping in with assists. Expect him to push 40 fantasy points. ***

Bradley Beal, UTA vs LAC ($7,100): Beal had 41.5 fantasy points against the Rockets on Tuesday in just 29 minutes. He’s done well against the Cavaliers this season, averaging 43.1 fantasy points in three games against them. With John Wall back in the lineup, there is some offensive pressure off Beal, freeing him up to do other things. This is a matchup he’s done well against the last two seasons and he should be over 35 fantasy points on Thursday. ****
