FanDuel Lineup and Picks for Thursday, April 5th

Early Slate Sample Lineup
P – David Price
C/1B – Miguel Cabrera
2B – Cesar Hernandez
3B – Nolan Arenado
SS – Trevor Story
OF – Hunter Renfroe, Jose Pirela, Mitch Haniger
Utility – Jeimer Candelario
It feels a little weird to have so many cheap players in the lineup, but Arenado against a lefty and Miggy against Shields just seems too good to pass up. Having a couple lefty specialists from San Diego should help this lineup get into the cash line. Price is seemingly the safest pitcher option on the board. The biggest issue as of now is potential weather in Detroit. It’s possible it gets snowed out again, but we’ll see tomorrow.
Stacks to Consider – Tigers(vs. Chicago White Sox), Rockies(at San Diego), Red Sox(vs. Tampa Bay)

Late Slate Sample Lineup
P – Robbie Ray
C/1B – Manny Pina
2B – Daniel Descalso
3B – Kris Bryant
SS – Ketel Marte
OF – Giancarlo Stanton, Billy Hamilton, Adam Frazier
Utility – Aaron Judge
The name of the game here is to get as many yankees as humanly possible in this lineup. It’s only four games and you may as well shoot for the moon. There’s a possibility I may wind up playing Drury at third base and spreading that extra money around the lineup. I don’t see any other option than to eat the Robbie Ray chalk. He can be an unpredictable pitcher, but don’t let one rough start scare you. Ray misses bats at an incredible rate and was far better on the road in 2017. Pay the price for him and find other routes to be different. If he drops 50+ FanDuel points, it’s going to be tough to make that up.
Stacks To Consider – Yankees(vs. Baltimore), Reds(at Pittsburgh), Cubs and Brewers both
