High Value SG

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL vs MIN ($6,000): Caldwell-Pope found his shooting form over the last couple of games and is coming off a 38 fantasy point performance against the Spurs on Wednesday. The Timberwolves are on a back-to-back, and even with Jimmy Butler active, still have a less than desirable defense. Caldwell-Pope should have no problem putting up his usual scoring and rebounding numbers, going over 30 fantasy points once again. ****

Stanley Johnson, DET vs DAL ($5,300): Johnson has been over value in five straight and is coming off a 35.75 fantasy point performance against the Sixers on Wednesday. He’s logging 30-plus minutes on most nights and is giving the Pistons solid production from the wing. There’s a slight chance that Blake Griffin returns to the lineup and if that happens, he’ll undoubtedly cut into Johnson’s value. But as long as Griffin doesn’t play, Johnson finds himself in a favorable position. ***

J.J. Redick, PHI vs CLE ($5,200): Redick has been over value in his last six games. He dropped 40 fantasy points against the Pistons on Wednesday and needs 23 fantasy points to reach value on Friday. He’s done well in his last two games against the Cavaliers, going over 28 fantasy points in both contests. He’ll get his chances and since the game should be close, he’ll play big minutes. Expect him to push 30 fantasy points in this one. ****
