The Merseyside derby seems to have come at a good time for Everton, as they look for their first derby win in eight years. This will be the third game between the sides this season, after a draw in the league and a Liverpool win in the FA Cup. Both matches featured some controversial refereeing, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin going over easily to win the game-tying penalty in the league match and Adam Lallana doing the same to win his side the go-ahead penalty in the Cup.
