Week 6 in the MLS kicks off with Montreal Impact traveling to New England. Here are the best value picks for MLS fantasy soccer.

MLS returns for another round of interesting games this weekend. After an incredible Week 5, which saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic make his MLS debut in a blockbuster Los Angeles derby, Week 6 has plenty of match ups to excite. Atlanta host LAFC, looking to win their fourth game in a row while Portland travel to Orlando looking to record their first win of the season.

These are the top 5 value picks for MLS fantasy heading into the weekend.

Elliot Collier, Chicago Fire ($5.1 Million)

The midfielder has started Chicago Fire’s last two games in the League and will be hoping to get the nod against Columbus Crew in Week 6. Elliot Collier will be looking to show the form he showed against Minnesota in Week 3 when the American created two chances and scored a goal .

Chicago have been finding the back of the net regularly so far this season: six goals in three games has put the Fire among the most hottest attacking units in the MLS. Chicago face Columbus this weekend, and should fancy their chances against the Crew, who are coming off a shock defeat at home to the Vancouver Whitecaps in Week 5. The Fire have had 23 shots in their last two games, so Collier should have plenty of opportunity to score points .

Luis Alberto Caicedo, New England Revolution ($6.8 Million)

Luis Caicedo had his break out game in the MLS in last week’s 2-0 victory over the Houston Dynamos. Caicedo earned fantasy owners nine points in Week 5 and will be looking to build on a strong performance against the Montreal Impact in Week 6.

New England come into Week 6 in good form picking up seven points from a possible nine over recent weeks, managing to score an average of two goals per game. Caicedo capped off his good performance against Houston with a secondary assist; he also chipped in with two shots and one chance created. Montreal did keep a clean sheet in their last outing against Seattle, however, the Impact will face a sterner test away at New England.

Will Johnson, Orlando City ($6.7 Million)

Will Johnson had his best game of the season last week. Orlando City beat New York Redbulls 4-3 in Week 5. Johnson scored Orlando’s opening goal on the quarter-hour mark, and he went on to earn fantasy owners 10 points.

This week, Orlando City have a home tie against Portland Timbers, which is a perfect opportunity for City to make it back-to-back wins for the first time this year. Portland still haven’t won a game this season and have conceded nine goals in four games. Orlando will be looking to exploit the Timbers weak defense in Week 6.

Daniel Salloi, Sporting Kansas City ($6.0 Million)

Daniel Salloi has been a top five pick for two weeks in a row. Salloi was disappointing in Week 5 against DC United. However, SKC will be looking at Salloi to step up with star man Felipe Gutierrez questionable for the game.

Sporting Kansas City face L.A. Galaxy in Week 6 . The Galaxy come in to this weekend’s game on the back of that dramatic 4-3 defeat in the L.A. derby in Week 5. The Galaxy have conceded five goals in their two home games his season, while SKC have scored an average of three goals in their away games this year. So Salloi should fancy his chances of scoring against a shaky Galaxy defense.

Jacori Hayes, FC Dallas ($5.8 Million)

FC Dallas face Colorado Rapids in Week 6 in their third game of the season. Dallas have had a steady start to the year, they are unbeaten and will be hoping to continue their run this weekend. Jacori Hayes comes into the game against Colorado in good form after picking up an assist in Dallas’ 1-1 draw against Portland in March.

Dallas have scored five goals so far this season and will be looking towards Hayes to create chances against a Rapids side who kept a clean sheet against Philadelphia Union in Week 5. However, Colorado did give up 15 shots last week and if they continue to be so generous against a stronger attacking side in the form of FC Dallas they may struggle to leave Texas without giving up a couple of goals.
