What time does the WWE Hall of Fame 2018 ceremony start?
By Nick Tylwalk
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is always one of the emotional cornerstones of any WrestleMania weekend, and we tell you when to tune in to catch the Class of 2018 on Friday night.
If you’ve ever been fortunate enough to attend WrestleMania in person, you already know what a special night the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony can be. While it does get a bit long at times (okay, most times), seeing the legends of pro wrestling return and get one more chance in the spotlight is a thrill. Speeches given by both the performers and the people presenting them are often among the non-wrestling highlights of any WrestleMania week.
That should once again be the case for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018, which is headlined by Goldberg. An attraction in and of himself who became much better on the microphone later in his career, he’s being inducted by the incomparable Paul Heyman, which means his segment, which will likely go on last, should be a treat.
As well, the Dudley Boyz figure to give one of the night’s more impassioned speeches when they are inducted. It’s hard to think of two talents who wore their passion for the business on their sleeves more consistently and for a longer period of time than the Dudleys, and it wouldn’t at all be surprising to see both members of one of the greatest tag teams of all time get emotional on Friday night.
The big question, then, is when you need to hop on the WWE Network to see all of this unfold from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. While the event time is officially being listed as 6:30 p.m. ET for people with tickets, coverage of the WWE Hall of Fame red carpet begins at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. The live stream of the ceremony itself is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. ET, and while the WWE Network listings have it running until 11:00 p.m., history suggests it may carry on past that time.
