Perhaps the best match this Sunday will be the clash for the WWE Championship  between champion A.J. Styles and challenger Shinsuke Nakamura.

The WrestleMania card looks pretty stacked, regardless of whether fans get to see John Cena vs. the Undertaker or not. Maybe the biggest match of them all and what should be the main event is WWE Champion A.J. Styles defending his belt against Shinsuke Nakamura. This is a dream match for a lot of fans, and the build to it hasn’t disappointed throughout.

Styles and Nakamrua are both among the best in the world (sorry CM Punk, I’m using that phrase) and they’ve put on a masters class in building a big match. In reality, WWE didn’t need to do much to really sell this match. Styles and Nakamura do that on their own. They’ve gone about a very subtle build with each performer playing mind games with the other.

It’s been very noticeable that this feud has been in massive contrast to the build for the other title match on the card. They haven’t needed a Paul Heyman to sell the match for them. Fake U.S. Marshals were nowhere to be found. One of these guys haven’t needed to take a beating with a chair to gain sympathy. Just very simple and sly looks have gotten the job done. It speaks to the talent of both men that this interaction counts as building a feud.

Styles was giving Nakamura a taste of his own medicine since they had to tag team on the last episode of SmackDown.

Fans can only hope this match is given the amount of time it deserves. These two guys could have a great match in their sleep. If WWE lets them have a solid 25-30 minutes in the ring, they should be the best match on the card without question. Styles and Nakamura are at the top of their game right now heading into the biggest stage possible.

It’s almost hard to believe that this match is even happening in WWE. It wasn’t that long ago that Styles was toiling in TNA and Nakamura was in NJPW. Everyone knew they were among the best in their profession, but few could have imagined that they would be battling at WrestleMania for a world title.

It would be a bit of a misnomer to say this match could “steal” the show. It’s a huge part of the show and many expect it to be the match of the night. Styles and Nakamura will tear the roof off the building on Sunday. It would seem to make a lot of sense to have Nakmaura win the belt this Sunday. Styles has been incredible as champion, but Nakamura is ready to be the main man on SmackDown.
