Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

Many questions were raised upon the arrival of Ronda Rousey in WWE. Many wondered if she would be sticking around long-term, which she soon revealed that she will be. Then, many wondered what the former UFC star will be doing in the ring and how she can hold up when it comes to an actual wrestling match. As it turns out, they’re wasting no time putting her in the spotlight as she’ll team with Kurt Angle, who has supported her in storyline, to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who are just using her as it pertains to the narrative on screen.

This is 100 percent a genius way for the company to use Rousey in such an appearance. While she might have a background in Judo, she’s not exactly versed in the ways of pro wrestling. As such, she needs to be in a match where she’s not going to be asked to do all that much and in a match in which she has veterans around her to hide any shortcomings that she may have.

That’s exactly what the company is doing here. You don’t get more professional than the likes of long-time veterans like Angle, Triple H and Stephanie. That might be the three most veteran superstars on the card on Sunday night. It’s hard to not respect the way that this was booked in that regard as it puts a huge asset, Rousey, in the best position to succeed overall.

In storyline, there’s literally a zero percent chance that they’re about to have Rousey lose.

Prediction: Yeah, like they’re going to have Rousey lose.
