Sample Lineup

P – Charlie Morton

C/1B – Jose Martinez

2B – Ben Zobrist

3B – Kris Bryant

SS – Jose Peraza

OF – Aaron Judge, Mookie Betts, Billy Hamilton

Utility – Miguel Andujar

Especially with Sunday being a getaway day for a lot of teams, this sample could look different tomorrow near first pitch. Some teams may choose to rest players even though it’s early on in the season. It’s all about keeping the team fresh through the six month grind. This particular lineup takes advantage of a couple of punt options in Zobrist and Andujar to help fit in Judge, Betts, and Bryant. Hamilton and Peraza could put up near 30 points combined just off singles and stolen bases. If Morton shows up like he should and we get on the right side of home run luck, this lineup should do very well.

Stacks to Consider: Yankees (vs. Baltimore), Houston (vs. San Diego), Red Sox (vs. Tampa Bay), and Cardinals (vs. Arizona).

This slate is honestly a little difficult to get a handle on right away. There’s 10 games and whenever you don’t have apiece of one of them, you feel like you could miss out in a big way. It’s going to be hard to prioritize each one correctly and there could still be some value that pops up as lineup cards come in tomorrow.

As always, may fortune be on your side and follow me on Twitter @bucn4life as MLB allows late swap. If there’s a late scratch and/or lineup cards aren’t put in for the late games, this article will always be updated on Twitter ASAP.
