Tonight’s Talking Dead features Walking Dead actors Steven Ogg (Simon), Christian Serratos (Rosita), and Walking Dead Ultimate Fan winner Ashley Weidman.
Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick, will see Simon and Rosita as lead guests to discuss The Walking Dead episode “Worth” and what it means. Steven Ogg has taken on a major role this season, with Simon essentially running a silent uprising against Negan. Unlike the good sheriff Rick Grimes, Simon is looking at removing Negan as an opportunity to run Sanctuary himself.
We’ll be seeing Negan confront Simon over what went down at the junkyard on tonight’s Walking Dead episode. Hopefully, it’s not the last we see of Simon. Ogg has been outstanding through season 8, and could easily hold a season together as lead villain on his own. So much so, Negan has almost quietly shifted to a good guy role looking for vengeance against Simon.
According to tonight’s Walking Dead episode description, “Daryl and Rosita take action and confront an old friend.” That old friend is probably Eugene at his new Savior factory where he’s producing new ammo for the Saviors. Christian Serratos will likely discuss how Rosita’s mistreatment of Eugene has made everything come full circle. Rosita has taken a somewhat background approach this season, she hasn’t been the same since her injury and failure to take out Negan when she had a chance.

This season has been building up to Morgan eventually departing Rick’s group and it will be the first time a Walking Dead character moves to Fear the Walking Dead. Whether there will be more crossovers in the future probably depends on the popularity of this one. Morgan is expected to give a boost to Fear the Walking Dead’s fourth season, getting core fans comfortable with a familiar face.
