The Heat continue to scrap out wins, as they have all season, going 2-1 to get into a tie for the 7-seed with the Milwaukee Bucks. Not only would it be fun for the Heat to play the Cavaliers or Sixers in round one (Hassan vs Embiid or Wade vs LeBron), but the Heat could bump the Bucks into the No. 16 spot in the draft, conveying the pick to the Phoenix Suns per the terms of their trade for Eric Bledsoe. While the players likely aren’t considering that aspect, Pat Riley has to be cackling at the opportunity to inflict pain on another Eastern Conference foe. Congratulations are due to Kelly Olynyk, who pocketed a cool $1 million for playing over 1700 minutes this season. The former Celtics big man has been really valuable for Miami this season, and has made a strong case to get more minutes than Hassan Whiteside in the postseason.
