NBA Power Rankings: The final regular season edition

The Timberwolves lost a big game in Denver this week, scrapping with the Nuggets in a 100-96 defeat. While they were able to defeat the Lakers the following night, with the return of Jimmy Butler giving them a boost, that loss to Denver puts them in a situation where they’re in a “winner takes all” game in the final game of the season in a rematch against the Nuggets. Minnesota hosts Memphis tonight, and if things shake out in their favor, a win could help them clinch a playoff spot, but another loss to the Grizzlies could be doom.
