After the conclusion of WrestleMania 34, many wondered if another WWE Superstar Shake-Up would be coming, and we now have an answer.
There is so much that transpires in the pro wrestling world are WrestleMania. Obviously the event itself is a spectacle unlike any other, but it’s also the end of the proverbial year in WWE. Because of that, new storylines start to take shape the nights following and big changes come around. Last year, that meant that the WWE Superstar Shake-Up was soon to follow.
The aforementioned Shake-Up was the natural successor to the Draft that took place after the initial brand split between RAW and SmackDown Live. Simply put, superstars change brands (RAW stars go to SmackDown Live and vice versa) to change things up on both rosters and keep things fresh. Overall, it’s a good idea in the hope that things remain feeling new.
After WrestleMania 34, however, many wondered if we were going to be getting yet another WWE Superstar Shake-Up. On Monday night during the RAW after Mania, we got our answer.
In a promo early on in the show, the announcement was made that next week would be the 2018 WWE Superstar Shake-Up. Take a look at the brief video teasing the event below:

Obviously there aren’t any real hints or anything about what this means for either brand. However, what we do know is that the Superstar Shake-Up will begin with RAW on April 16 and conclude the next day on SmackDown Live on April 17.

Last year, the WWE Superstar Shake-Up didn’t really see any enormous names switching brands, though there were some notables. You have to wonder if the company will up the ante this time around or if they’ll stick to that same modus operandi this time around. Guess we’ll have to tune in next week to find out what the actual case is.
