WWE WrestleMania 34 review: What we learned, takeaways and future projections

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
The Usos (c) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers
What we learned: We learned here that WWE creative might just be ready to run with Harper and Rowan. Since their rebrand from members of the Wyatt Family to The Bludgeon Brothers, they’ve been dominating everyone on SmackDown Live, and after this match at WrestleMania, it doesn’t seem like they’re going to slow down anytime soon.
After the interesting entrance from The New Day, the fun and games were over pretty quick as The Bludgeon Brothers got down to business, even taking some time out to obliterate Xavier Woods, who was the odd man for the former champs this time around. The Usos, who finally got themselves on the main card at a WrestleMania, didn’t have a lot of time to celebrate that milestone. They certainly tried to combat what was in front of them, even taking out Rowan at one point, but that didn’t last long.
As for Kofi Kingston and Big E, they got a little offense in there, but Harper was quick to put that to a stop and he and Rowan simply dominated this match. They finished off Kofi with the double Powerbomb and that was that. This bout didn’t even make it to six minutes but this was probably the way to go if they’re going to build The Bludgeon Brothers as unbeatable monsters. Not having that much time, it’s hard to say if this match was actually good or bad, but it was there and it happened and we’ll just go with that.
What’s next: Harper and Rowan are going to get a nice run with these titles. The Usos will get their rematch at some poin,t but there’s no sense in continuing to move these belts around, not with The Bludgeon Brothers being booked the way they are right now. The Usos will try and come up short and then The New Day may take their turn at it. What would be really fun to see down the line is the Authors of Pain getting to the main roster and challenging these guys. That would be a physical matchup and very entertaining.
