5. Bobby Hull

The Golden Jet is another top-tier NHL all-timer. And he has the smile to match.

Hull comes from a family of hockey greats. His brother Dennis, aptly nicknamed “The Silver Jet,” scored more than 300 goals in the NHL and his son Brett is widely regarded as one of the sport’s greatest, as well.

In perhaps one of the strangest stories we’ve covered in this article, the CBC reported that a set of Hull’s false teeth was sold at auction for $575.96. The teeth were lost in a “during a bedroom romp in a Geneva hotel in the late 1950s” and were later mailed back to Hull, who sold them as part of a memorabilia auction.

I’m all for sports memorabilia, but this is a little strange. No matter, Hull not only proves that losing teeth can make you look good, but that it can also make you a profit if you lose your back-ups during a bedroom romp in a Geneva hotel room. Relatable.
